What's new

We ship every week and write about what changed and why. Honest notes, not marketing.

A big week - the full bake-to-pickup workflow

Caught up on a backlog. The whole flow from "open orders Monday" to "hand bags to customers Saturday" is in place now.

  • NEW

    Bake mode

When you're ready to bake, click into a batch and you'll see a single page totaling every item across every order. "I need 24 cardamom buns and 18 chocolate chip cookies." No spreadsheet math.

  • NEW

    Pack mode

On pickup day, a separate view groups orders by customer with checkboxes - pack each item, mark each order packed, hand it off. Customer notes show right where you'd want them.

  • NEW

    Allergens

Tap chips for the FDA Big 9 (milk, eggs, wheat, etc.) on each product, plus a free-text field for notes like "may contain pistachio." Allergens show clearly on the storefront so customers with sensitivities can self-screen.

  • NEW

    Sales tax & bakery location

Set a tax rate in settings, toggle which products are taxable, and customers see Subtotal / Tax / Total at checkout. Optional bakery location string (city, neighborhood) shows on your storefront.

  • IMPROVED

    Polish across the board

Drag to reorder products in your batch. Dashboards refresh on focus. Edit prices and quantities on already-open batches. Friendlier date/time picker for scheduling.

Inventory tracking and automatic batch closing

Two helpful features this week.

  • NEW

    Set quantity per product

Each item in your batch can now have a max - say, 12 morning buns. Customers see "8 left" and can't accidentally order the 13th. When stock hits zero, the item shows "Sold out" instead of letting more orders through.

  • NEW

    Batches close on their own

Pick a close time when you create a batch and forget about it. No more remembering to flip the switch at 5pm on Thursday.
